Application of authorized education based on information platform in elderly patients with cerebral infarction

    • ObjectiveTo observe the effect of authorized education based on information platform in elderly patients with cerebral infarction.
MethodsNinety-six elderly patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 48 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention, while the patients in the observation group were given authorized education based on information platform on the basis of the control group. The self-management ability, self-efficacy, functional training compliance and quality of life of the patients in the two groups were compared before the intervention, 12 weeks after the intervention, and 24 weeks after the intervention.
ResultsAfter 12 and 24 weeks of intervention, the self-management behavior scale scores, self-efficacy scores, and quality of life scores of the two groups of patients improved compared to before intervention (P < 0.05 to P < 0.01), and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).After 12 and 24 weeks of intervention, the functional training compliance scores of both groups of patients decreased compared to before intervention (P < 0.05), and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).
ConclusionsInterventions using authorized education based on information platform for elderly patients with cerebral infarction can help improve patients' self-efficacy and develop healthy self-management behaviors, which can effectively slow down the decline of patients' functional training compliance and thus improve their quality of survival.
