Clinical observation of complete neuroendoscopic microvascular decompression in the treatment of idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia

    • ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of complete neuroendoscopic microvascular decompression in the treatment of idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia.
MethodsA total of 60 patients with idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia were retrospectively analyzed and divided into observation group and control group according to the treatment methods, 30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with complete neuroendoscopic microvascular decompression, and the control group was treated with traditional microscopic vascular decompression. The clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.
ResultsThe total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05);there was a statistically significant difference in the detection rate of responsible vessels between two groups (P < 0.05);there was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups (P>0.05).
ConclusionsThe clinical effect of complete neuroendoscopic microvascular decompression in the treatment of idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia is significant, which has a high rate of discovery of responsible vessels, and improve the success rate of surgery.
