Analysis of the implementation effects of integrating big data analysis into biochemistry and molecular biology teaching

Objective To assess the implementation effects of integrating big data analysis into biochemistry and molecular biology teaching.

Methods A total of 283 undergraduates majoring in clinical medicine in grade 2022 were selected, the control group(143 students) adopted the traditional teaching mode, and the observation group(140 students) adopted the teaching mode of integrating big data analysis into the course. The timely learning effect and comprehensive learning effect of the undergraduates in two groups were compared. At the same time, the observation group were visited in class, and the satisfaction of using big data analysis tools was analyzed.

Results The timely learning effectiveness and comprehensive learning effectiveness in the observation group were better than those in control group(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01), and the undergraduates in the observation group had high satisfaction with the integration of big data analysis into the course teaching mode and use of big data analysis tools.

Conclusions The introduction of big data analysis tools can significantly improve students' learning interest and scientific literacy, and promote the traditional teaching mode to the direction of deep interaction, innovation and data interaction.
