Objective To investigate the status quo of oral feeding intolerance(OFI) in acute pancreatitis(AP), and explore its influencing factors so as to provide evidence for clinical intervention strategies.
Methods A total of 117 cases of AP were selected by convenient sampling method. According to their tolerance to oral feeding, the patients were divided into the oral feeding tolerance group(93 cases) and oral feeding intolerance group(24 cases). The general data, laboratory indicators, subjective perception of gastrointestinal function and emotional self-regulation efficacy between two groups were compared, and the influencing factors of OFI were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression.
Results The results of regression showed that the gastrointestinal function(GCSI-R) and blood glucose(GLU) at admission, white blood cells (WBC) before feeding, C-reactive protein(CRP) and emotional self-regulation efficacy(RESE) were the independent influencing factors of OFI(P < 0.05). The fit of model was good, and the prediction model had high predictive value for OFI (AUC=0.972, 95%CI: 0.935-1.000, P < 0.01).
Conclusions GCSI-R and GLU at admission, WBC before feeding, CPR and RESE are the influencing factors of OFI occurrence.Clinical care should pay attention to the subjective gastrointestinal feelings and emotional regulation ability of patients while paying attention to laboratory examination indicators.
