Practice of artificial intelligence empowering smart learning in neurology teaching

Abstract
Objective: To explore the practical value and role of artificial intelligence empowering smart learning in the application of neurology teaching. Methods: A total of 120 students majoring in clinical medicine of the 2022 grade from Bengbu Medical University were selected as the observation group, and the artificial intelligence empowering smart learning was applied to the teaching of neurology.A total of 118 students majoring in clinical medicine of the 2021 grade were selected as the control group, and were taught using the traditional neurology teaching method.After the teaching of the two groups of students was completed, a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate and compare the teaching effects and teaching satisfaction.Statistical analysis was also carried out on the regular neurology scores, test paper scores and final comprehensive scores of the two groups of students. Results: The overall evaluation, professional knowledge, ideological and political quality, professional quality, innovation ability, teamwork ability, humanistic care and compassion in the observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).The satisfaction rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01).Meanwhile, the regular performance, test paper scores and final total scores in the observation group were significantly better than those in control group(P < 0.05 to P < 0.01). Conclusions: The application of artificial intelligence empowering smart learning in neurology teaching can help students establish a correct learning outlook, contribute to the cultivation of students′ theoretical professional knowledge, ideological and political quality, professional quality and innovation ability, and improve the quality of neurology teaching.
