Abstract
Objective: To explore the application effects of trans-theoretical model combined with family empowerment nutrition support management in postoperative esophageal cancer patients. Methods: One hundred esophageal cancer surgery patients were divided into the observation group and control group according to the random number table method. The control group was given the routine nursing interventions, and the observation group was given the family empowerment nutrition support management based on trans-theoretical model on the basis of the control group. The stage of behavioral change between two groups were compared, and the 24 h intake after 1 month of operation and nutritional indicators, complications and positive feelings of caregivers before operation and after 2 weeks,1 month and 2 months in two groups were observed. Results: After trans-theoretical model family empowerment intervention, compared with the control group, the patients' intention and compliance of standardized diet were improved(P<0.05),the nutritional status of patients were improved(P<0.05 to P<0.01),and the incidence of complications reduced in the observation group(P<0.05).In addition, the degree of positive feelings of family caregivers was positively affected(P<0.01). Conclusions: Family empowerment nutrition support management based on trans-theoretical model has shown potential application value in patients after esophageal cancer surgery, which can improve the intention and compliance of nutrition support management to regulate diet, improve the nutritional status of patients, and enhance the positive feelings of primary caregivers.
