Study on the application effects of the smart nursing model based on ostomy card and ostomy log in patients with urostomy

Objective: To investigate the clinical application effects of the smart nursing model based on ostomy card and ostomy log in urostomy patients. Methods: A total of 60 patients after urostomy were divided into the control group and observation group according to random number table method(30 cases in each group).The control group was given the routine discharge education,and the observation group was given the ostomy card combined with ostomy log for smart nursing education.The patients' mastery of urostomy self-care knowledge,satisfaction and complication rate were compared between two groups. Results: The mastery scores of urostomy self-care knowledge and satisfaction of nursing in the observation group were higher than those in control group after 3 months of discharge(P<0.01).The incidence rate of urostomy complications in the observation group after 3 months of discharge16.7%(5/30) was lower than that in control group56.7%(17/30) (P<0.01). Conclusions: The application of smart nursing model based on ostomy card and ostomy log in patients after urostomy can improve the knowledge level and satisfaction of urostomy self-care,and reduce the incidence of urostomy complications.
