Trachea multiple squamous papilloma: report of one case and literature review

Abstract
Objective:To summarize and analyze the clinical features of the trachea squamous papilloma so as to arouse the awareness of the disease and make early diagnosis and treatment.Methods:The clinical data of one case of trachea multiple squamous papilloma (including the case history,clinical manifestations,chest CT photos,bronchoscope and pathology results) were analyzed retrospectively and reviewed with literature.Results:The characteristic symptoms of tracheal papilloma were dyspnea,coughing and expectorating "meat-like" material;hemoptysis could also be seen.The chest CT,three-dimensional reconstruction of the trachea and bronchoscopy were great value in diagnosis of the disease.Conclusions:As tracheal papilloma is rarely seen,it is easy to be misdiagnosed.Interventional therapy under electron-bronchoscope is safe and effective for treatment of the disease.
