    Laparoscope-assisted pelvic adhesiolysis for restoring pelvic anatomical function: report of 105 cases

    • Objective: To investigate the role of laparoscope in pelvic adhesiolysis.Methods: The clinical data of 105 cases of pelvic cavity adhesion having received laparoscope-assisted gynecologic surgery from Jan.2001 to Oct.2007 were analyzed retrospectively.The lesion was cleared,the adhesion separated,and the bad pelvic corrected under the laparoscope.Results: Laparoscope-assisted gynecologic surgery was performed successfully in all the 105 cases.No conversion to open surgery was required.The intestinal canal of one case was ruptured for general adhesion of the bowels,which was repaired with absorbable catgut suture.The operation lasted from 30-150 min and the hospital stay was 3-15 days.During the follow-up of 1-60 months,no complication such as stomachache or abdominal distension was observed.Of the 65 patients desiring to have a child,30 were pregnant(46.15%).Conclusions: The technology of laparoscope-assisted surgery is effective for treatment of pelvic adhesiolysis,and the recovery of pelvic anatomical function may enhance pregnancy chances.
