Abstract
Objective:To explore the diagnosis and treatment in squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) of bladder.Methods:The manifestations,diagnostic method,treatment and prognosis of 11 patients with bladder SCC were retrospectively analyzed from Sep.1989 to Sep.2011.Results:Within 11 cases with bladder SCC,the survival time of 2 cases without surgery was 4 to 6 months,4 cases were treated with partial cystectomy,and 5 cases were treated with radical cystectomy.One case living within the following-up for 38 months,1 case death at postoperative 10 years,2 cases death within postoperative 5 months,4 cases death within postoperative 11 to 13 months and 1 case death at postoperative 22 months were found.Conclusions:The bladder SCC is a sort of serious malignant neoplasm and its prognosis is poor,the early diagnosis and radical cystectomy of which can obtain better therapeutic effects.
