Clinical analysis of 12 cases of Rhupus syndrome

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) overlap syndrome (Rhupus syndrome) methods:the clinical characteristics and diagnosis and treatment, to improve the understanding of Rhupus syndrome. Method: 12 cases of Rhupus for diagnosis of comprehensive clinical manifestations, serological indexes, imaging examination and the diagnosis and treatment of syndrome were analyzed retrospectively. Results:12 in patients with Rhupus syndrome and the proportion of 1: 11, whose age ranged from 23 to 48 years old. 10 patients had RA as the initial manifestation; 12 cases of joint pain, morning stiffness in 10 cases, 10 cases of blood system damage; quantitative increase in 9 cases of rheumatoid factor, anti cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody quantitative increase in 7 cases, anti Sm antibody was positive in 8 patients; 12 patients were found positive antinuclear antibodies, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C reactive protein increased, immunoglobulin, complement and change hands down image. 12 cases were treated with glucocorticoid combined with disease modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), the disease has been effectively ease. Conclusion:Rhupus syndrome with multiple clinical manifestations of middle-aged women, compared with RA and SLE is more complicated, with both RA and SLE clinical features, but more to the onset of RA common, joint symptom is heavier, the SLE performance of relatively light, with organ damage, can simultaneously or successively appeared RA and SLE markers, use of glucocorticoid combined with DMARDs therapy can effectively alleviate the condition.
