High intensity focused ultrasound in treatment of uterine fibroids 98 cases analysis

Objective: To observe the curative effect of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) in the treatment of uterine fibroids.Methods: selection is not willing to accept 98 patients with myoma of uterus operation excision, for treatment of HIFU in real-time ultrasound monitoring, regular follow-up after treatment in patients with clinical efficacy.Results: after 12 months of follow-up, 98 cases in 76 cases markedly effective (77.6%), effective in 8 cases (8.2%), effective in 7 cases (7.1%), invalid 16 cases (7.1%). There was statistically significant difference effect of different size of uterine leiomyoma (P0.01).Conclusions:the treatment of uterine fibroids :HIFU effective and minimally invasive.
