The significance of ThinPrep cytologic test combined colposcopy with biopsy in cervical carcinoma investigation

Objective: To evaluate the application of thinprep cytologic test(TCT) combined colposcopy with biopsy in cervical carcinoma investigation.Methods: To applicate the methods which TCT combined colposcope with biopsy in cervical lesion diagnosis,and analysis the results by pathological diagnosis.Results: One hundred and sixty-four cases were detected as atypical squamous cell of undetermined significance(ASCUS),low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(LSIL),high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(HSIL) and benign changes with a bit cell hyperplasia in TCT,and these cases were biopsied under colposcope.Sixty-four cases were detected accompanied with inflammation,the positive rate was 39.0%;38 cases were detected with CIN1;19 cases were detected with CIN2;37 cases were detected with CIN3;6 cases were detected with the forepart of soakage carcinoma.Conclusions: The examination of TCT combined colposcope with pathological biopsy is as soon as possible in detecting the cervical procarcinoma and carcinoma.
