Combined drug therapy of 20 patients with fungal keratitis

Objective: To investigate the effect of sporanox,natamycin eye drops and antibiotics on mycotic keratitis.Methods: Eight patients with mild keratitis were treated only with sporanox.Twelve patients with middle,severe keratitis were treated with sporanox,natamycin eye drops,and antibiotics in combination.Results: Twenty patients with mycotic keratitis were all cured.Two patients with corneal ulcer and perforation were transplanted with conjunctival flap,the eyeball were all protected.Conclusions: The theraputic effects of combination of sporanox,natamycin eye drops,and antibiotics are of efficacy on mycotic keratitis.
