Clinical effect of oral Yiqing capsule and topical tretinoin cream on acne

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of oral Yiqing capsule and topical tretinoin cream on acne.Methods: One hundred and twenty patient with mild to moderate acne were divided into three groups at random:Group A was treated by oral Yiqing capsule and topical tretinoin cream;Group B by oral Yiqing;Group C by topical tretinoin cream.Three groups were all treated by aidactone and complex Vitamin B.The treatment lasted for 6 weeks.Results: The total effective rate of combination drug therapy was 95%, but there were no statistical singificance among the three therapies (P>0.05).Conclusions: Oral Yiqing and topical tretinoin cream had certainly therapeutic effect on mild to moderate acne and had little side-effect.
