Objective To construct a set of standardized comprehensive exercise rehabilitation program to provide effective training and rehabilitation strategies for elderly patients with functional ankle instability.
Methods Guided by the ICF theory, the first draft of the exercise rehabilitation program for elderly patients with functional ankle instability was constructed through the literature review method, and the final draft of the exercise rehabilitation program was determined after two rounds of Delphi expert letter inquiry from October to December 2023.
Results After two rounds of Delphi expert letter inquiry, 19 experts tended to agree. The recovery rate of the first round of expert letter inquiry questionnaire was 95%, the suggestion rate was 52.63%, the authority coefficient was 0.89, the Kendall harmony coefficient was 0.148, and the coefficient of variation was 0–0.23. In the second round of expert letter inquiry, the recovery rate was 100%, the suggestion rate was 15.79%, the authority coefficient was 0.90, the Kendall harmony coefficient was 0.209, and the coefficient of variation was 0–0.18.
Conclusions After summarizing expert suggestions, conducting literature reviews and discussing within the research group, the final draft of the exercise rehabilitation program for elderly patients with functional ankle instability is finally formed, consisting of 5 first-level items, 16 second-level items, and 31 third-level items.
