Rhomboid flap for repair of skin defects in face

Objective:To evaluate the effect of repairing the facial skin defect with the rhomboid flap.Methods:Thirty cases of small facial skin defects were repaired using rhomboid flaps;the facial skin defects ranged from 0.5 cm×0.6 cm to 3.0 cm×3.0 cm,and the donor site was directly sutured.Results:All the flaps survived with primary healing,and the cosmetic results were satisfactory.Conclusions:The rhomboid flap can be used for the coverage of small facial skin defects with satisfactory results.It is worth popularizing.
