Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of abnormal sample characters, such as hemolysis, icterus and lipemia,on fluorescence quantitative PCR (FQ-PCR) detection of HBV DNA. Methods: Levels of serum HBV DNA in hyperlipemia with hemolysis, icterus and normal serum samples were detected by FQ-PCR. Results: There were no significant differences of HBV DNA level among the groups of hyperlipemia with hemolysis, icterus and the control (P>0.05). Conclusions: Hemolysis, icterus and lipemia of serum sample have no interference on FQ-PCR detection of HBV DNA.
