Abstract
Objective: To study the relationship of expressions of survivin and HIF-1α in the tissue of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) with differentiation, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage and the correlation between them. Methods: The expressions of survivin and HIF-1α protein were detected by immunohistochemistry in the specimens of 120 NSCLC samples and 40 benign lung disease samples. Results: The positive rate of survivin in NSCLC was 81.60%,and there was no expression in the tissue of benign lung disease. The positive rate of HIF-1α was 58.33%,higher than that in the tissue of benign disease, which was 10.00%;both the expressions of survivin and HIF-1α had relationship with differentiation, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage, and the expression of survivin had positive relation with the expression of HIF-1α in NSCLC(P=0.005).Conclusions: The expressions of survivin and HIF-1α were high and they both have relationship with differentiation, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage of NSCLC,and the expression of HIF-1α protein had positively correlation with expression of survivin protein.
