Analysis of B-ultrasonic examinaton results of the staffs over 40 years old in Huangshan College in 2009

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the B-ultrasonic findings of the faculty members in Huangshan college so as to provide reference for the prevention of diseases and health care.Methods: The results of 452 staffs accepted B-ultrasonic examinations for the liver,gallbladder,pancreas,spleen and kidneys were statistically analyzed.Results: The total abnormity incidence was 67.48%.The most frequent five diseases were fatty liver(29.87%),cyst of liver(22.35%),cholecystolithiasis(16.15%),cystonephrosis(14.38%) and gallpolyps(11.06%).The incidence of fatty liver in the faculty members over 50 decreased with age,with an rate of 35.71% in the male and 18.99% in the female(P<0.01).Conclusions: B ultrasound examination can detect diseases presenting no clinical symptoms,which is beneficial to the early diagnosis and treatment.
