    Relations between interpersonal trust and interactive anxiousness in medical college students

    • Objective: To study the relation between interpersonal trust and interactive anxiousness in medical college students so as to provide theoretical basis for mental education in college.Methods: Three hundred and ninety-nine medical students were investigated with the interpersonal trust scale(IT) and the interaction anxiety scale(IAS).Results: There were no significant differences in IT and IAS between different genders and educational levels of the parents(P>0.05),but significant difference was observed between the only-child student and the student with brothers and sisters;the deference was also significant among students from different residences(P<0.05-P<0.01).There was a negative correlation between interpersonal trust and interactive anxiousness(P<0.01).Conclusions: Medical students had a relatively high level of anxiety.Interpersonal trust and interactive anxiousness are closely related.
