Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of therapeutic communication on the anxiety and nursing satisfaction of hemodialysis patients during the induction period.Methods: Forty hemodialysis patients with anxiety in induction period were divided into the experimental group and control group(20 cases each group).The control group and experimental group were treated with general communication and therapeutic communication based on the general communication,respectively.The demographic characteristics and social culture of two groups were investigated,the levels of anxiety and satisfaction in two groups were evaluated before and after nursing.Results: The differences of the levels of anxiety and satisfaction in two groups were not statistical significance before intervention(P>0.05).The levels of anxiety and satisfaction after intervention in experimental group were lower and higher than those in before intervention,respectively(P<0.01).The levels of anxiety and satisfaction after intervention in control group were lower and higher than those in before intervention,respectively(P<0.01).The levels of anxiety and satisfaction in experimental group after intervention were lower and higher than those in control group,respectively(P<0.01).Conclusions: Therapeutic communication can relieve the anxiety of hemodialysis patients during the induction period,and increase the nursing satisfaction of patients.
