Abstract
Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect, toxic and side effect of introperitoneal hyperthermic chemoperfusion combined with local microwave radiofrequency thermotherapy for treatment of advanced peritoneo-pelvic malignant tumors(with or without abdominal water). Methods: Fifty-nine cases were divided into two groups at random. One group received introperitoneal hyperthermic chemoperfusion and local microwave radiofrequency thermotherapy(treatment group),the other received intropertoneal chemotherapy only(control group). Results: The effect rate in the treatment group reached 70.00%,while it was 31.03% in the control group. The difference was significant(P<0.01).And the side-effect had no difference between the two groups except sweating(P<0.01).The qulity of life of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The white blood cells in the treatment group increased significantly compared with that before treatment and that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions: The combination therapy of introperitoneal hyperthermic chemoperfusion and local microwave radiofrequency thermotherapy is effective on advanced peritoneo-pelvic malignant tumors with abdominal water. It may improve the life quality of the patients,as well as the phagocytosis function of the white blood cells.
