Spinal canal drainage in the treatment of brain injury accompanied by subarachnoid hemorrhage: A report of 15 cases

Abstract
Objective: To study the effect of spinal canal drainage by draining the cerebrospinal fluid in patients with brain injury combined with subarachnoid hemorrhage.Methods: Fifteen patients with brain injury accompanied by subarachnoid hemorrhage were analyzed.Results: All the cases were performed vertebral drainage for 8 to 20 times.Twelve patients survived and the survive rate was 80%.Eight patients resumed the original state.Conclusions: The therapy of vertebral drainage in addition to vertebral canal operation can increase the survival rate of patients with cerebral contusion subarachnoid hemorrhage and improve the prognosis.
