Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical features, prevention and treatment of hemorrhagic symptoms in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL).Methods: The clinical features, laboratory findings and curative effect of 63 cases of APL were analyzed retrospectively. Results: Fifty-four (85.7%) hemorrhage episodes were observed in the 63 cases of APL,including 11(17.5%) early hemorrhagic deaths and 47 cases with disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC).Three cases quitted treatment after diagnosis and 49(77.7%) cases gained complete remission. Conclusions: There is a high rate of hemorrhage in patients with APL.Administration of all-trans retinoic acid or compound qingdai tablets, transfusion of platelet and coagulation factors and therapy for DIC can reduce the incidence of early hemorrhagic deaths.
