Budesonide and salbutamol inhation therapy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of budesonide and salbutamol on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods: One hundred and six patients with COPD were randomly divided into two groups.The control group received routine therapy only,while the treatment group were administered inhalation of budesonide and salbutamol in addition to the routine therapy,then the outcome was analyzed.Results: Compared with the control group,the treatment group manifested a significant improvement in dyspnea,bellows rales and time of hospital stay(P<0.05-P<0.01).Conclusions: Inhalation of budesonide and salbutamol therapy has an affirmative effectiveness on COPD with little side effect.
