Analysis of 105 cases of traumatic subdural hygroma

Objective:To study the clinical features,pathogenesis and treatment of traumatic subdural hygroma.Methods:The clinical data of 105 cases of traumatic subdural hygroma were retrospectively analyzed.Results:Of the 105 cases,64 were treated by non-surgery therapy and 41 by surgical intervention.In the non-surgery group,the result was good in 8 cases,fair in 31 cases and poor in 10 cases;and the effective rate was 79.6%.In the surgical intervention group,the result was good in 15 cases,fair in 20 cases and poor in 6 cases;and the response rate was 85.4%.The total effective rate was 82.2%.Conclusions:Combined therapy should be adopted in treatment of patients with traumatic subdural hygroma.
