Rehabilitation nursing care for the prevention of foot drop in patients suffering from deep burn of lower limbs

Objective: To investigate the preventive effect of rehabilitation nursing care to foot drop in patients who suffering from deep burn of lower limbs.Methods: Sixty-two patients with deep burn of lower limbs were randomly divided into control group(n=36) and observation group(n=36).The patients in control group were taken routine nursing and in observation group were taken routine nursing with rehabilitation nursing care.Results: The motion range of ankle joint,dorsal flexion and plantar flexion in observation group were better than those in control group(P<0.01).There was no patient with foot drop in observation group while 16 patients with foot drop in control group.The difference of these two groups was significance(P<0.01).Conclusions: Rehabilitation nursing care could prevent foot drop in patients with deep burn of lower limbs.
