Suprachoroidal hemorrhage: A clinical analysis of 4 cases

Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics,prevention and treatment of suprachoroidal hemorrhage.Methods: Four eyes in 4 patients with suprachoroidal hemorrhage were analyzed in the clinical manifestations,treatment and contraoculars’ conditions.Three cases extracapsular catarct extractions.One case of trabeculectomy.Results: Ophthal-mectomy was carried out in one case.Atrophy of eyeball was observed in another case.Vision of light sensation was found in the other 2 cases which were performed suprachoroidal drainage combined with vitreoretinal surgery.Conclusions: Prevention and appropriate choice of surgery is important for patients with suprachoroidal hemorrhage.Suprachoroidal drainage combined with vitreoretinal surgery is one of the major procedures at present.
