Clinical application of abdominal wall subcutaneous embedding method for reservation of severely damaged hands by hot crush

Objective: To investigate the methods of reservation of severe hot crush injured palms.Methods: After the wounds were enlarged, the severe hot crush injured palms were embedded under abdominal wall subcutaneous tissue and then the palms together with the skin of abdominal wall were cut off after 4 to 6 weeks.The palm's amicula was skingrafted or enlagered.The skin of abdominal wall was obtained, and then sliced into ultrathin skin flaps to parcel plam's wounds.Results: Leftover hand's abdominal wall subcutaneous embedding method can conserve partly hand's function and patients have good social accommodation condition.Conclusions: Abdominal wall sub-skin embedding method can conserve severely impaired palms with energetically physical and mental value.
