Tongqiao blood-activating decoction combined with pancreatic kininogenas for treatment of acute cerebral infarction

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongqiao blood-activating decoction combined with pancreatic kininogenase on acute cerebral infarction.Methods: Forty-two cases of acute cerebral infarction received Tongqiao blood-activating decoction and pancreatic kininogenase in addidtion to the routine therapy,and 40 controls were treated with only salvia miltiorrhiza injection.Results: Among the 42 cases treated with Tongqiao blood-activating decoction and pancreatic kininogenase,11 cases were cured,28 cases improved and 3 cases had no response,with a total response rate of 92.86%.The difference was significant,compred with the control group(60.00%)(P<0.005).Conclusions: Tongqiao blood-activating decoction combined with pancreatic kininogenase is effective in treatment of acute cerebral infarction.
