Fetus in fetu in male infant abdominal cavity：areport of 2 cases and review of the literature

Objective:To study the morphological characteristics,diagnosis and differential diagnosis of fetus in fetu(FIF).Methods:Observed the histopathology of 2 cases of FIF,and the combination of literature review.Results:Morphological appearance of the mass has human organs,X-ray has vertebrae,vertebral axis section has formed cartilage and bone tissue,microscopic examination has the more mature differentiated normal human tissue.Conclusions:FIF is a mass which includes vertebral axis and the other organs or limbs;difficulty of diagnosis is to identify vertebral axis;mainly identification is teratoma.
