Study on the ethical decision-making ability and related factors of the practicing nursing students

Objective:To investigate the current status and analyze the influential factors of ethical decision-making ability of the practice nursing students.Methods:The 550 nursing students who practiced in the hospitals affiliated to Bengbu Medical College and Wannan Medical College were chosen conveniently.The research instrument was the questionnaire of Judgment About Nursing Decision(JAND).Results:There were 522 valid questionnaires.The average scores of the ethical decision-makin ability of practice nursing students were 270.2222.96.There were significant differences in ethical decision-making ability among nursing students about the different ethics courses,self-education level and practice time(P﹤0.05 to P﹥0.01).Conclusions:The ability of ethical decisionmaking ability of nursing students is in middle level,dimension ethical acts is lower.The ethical education in hospital and schools is an important factor for nursing students.
