Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of penehyclidine hydrochloride on preventing the nausea and vomitting of female patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC). Methods:One hundred and fifty female patients treated with LC undergoing general anesthesia were randomly divided into three groups. Group Ⅰ and Ⅱwere injected with 1 mg and 0. 5 mg of penehyclidine hydrochloride when the cholecyst was cut off, and group Ⅲ was not injected with any drugs. The degree of nausea and vomiting of all groups was recorded within 24 h postoperation and the incidence of each grade was counted. Results:The incidences of postoperative nausea and vomiting of group Ⅰ and Ⅱ were significantly lower than that of group Ⅲ(P0.01). Conclusions:Injection of panehyclidine hydrochloric during the process of cutting off the cholecyst in adult female patients can prevent the nausea and vomiting postoperation, and the effects of 1 mg are better than that of 0. 5 mg.
