The clinical application of vacuum sealing drainage technology in the repair of soft tissue defect of the limbs

Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of vacuum sealing drainage(VSD) technology on the repair of soft tissue defect of the limbs.Methods:Ten cases with soft tissue defects,which included 3 cases with tibial fractures with bone exposed,4 cases with large area infection of skin exfoliation and 3 cases with chronic ulcer were treated with VSD.Results:Through the VSD therapy,10 cases with good granulation tissue growth,fresh wound,good blood supply and dense granulation tissue were found,and which were treated with the phase 2 of skin grafts or flap transfer repair and received good clinical effects.Conclusions:VSD technology can improve the blood circulation of wound,reduce wound edema and inhibit bacterial growth to promote the growth of wound granulation tissue,which can provide the preparation of operation again.
