Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical and imaging features of influenza B in women in pregnancy so as to provide basis for the diagnosis, treatment, assessment and prognosis of the disease. Methods:The clinical features, treatment and imaging changes of 6 pregnant women with influenza B were analyzed retrospectively. Results:All the 6 cases presented the symptoms of fever and cough, but lung signs were unobvious.Three cases showed pneumonia signs and 3 bronchial infection signs on the chest imaging.Five cases receiving cesarean section had five healthy newborns. No respiratory failure occurred, and all the 6 cases were cured. The average hospital stay of the 5 cases with cesarean section was 6.6 days. Conclusions:The symptoms of influenza B in pregnant women are often severe, but presenting light physical signs. The imaging manifests small area virus pneumonia or bronchial infection signs;the prognosis is fairly good.Women in late pregnancy with influenza B should be ready to receive cesarean section at any time if necessary.
