    The effects of the triple treatment for helicobacter pylori infection with rabeprazole or esomeprazole

    • Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of the triple treatmentyes helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection with rabeprazole and esomeprazole.Methods:Three hundred and eighty-one cases with Hp infected were randomly divided into group A(190 cases)and group B(191 cases),group A were treated with 40 mg of esomeprazole Once a day,1 g of amoxicillin 2 times a day,500 mg of clarithromycin 2 times a day for 7 days.Group B(191 cases) were treated with 20 mg of rabeprazole 2 times a day and the same amoxicillin and clarithromycin as group A.The effects of all cases were followed-up 12-16 weeks by gastroscope and 14C-urea breath test for rejecting gastroscope.Results:The eradication rates of group A were 89.5%(170 cases)and 90.6%(173 cases) in group B,the incidence of adverse reactions of group A were 4.21% and 6.81% in group B,which had no statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusions:The triple treatment Hp infection with rabeprazole and esomeprazole are efficacy and safety.
