Application of the discovery teaching method in retention catheterization for male patients

Abstract
To explore the effects of the discovery teaching method on retention catheterization for male patients. Methods:One hundred and sixteen boy students of clinical medicine undergraduate of 2008 grade were randomly divided into test and controlgroup(58 boys per group). During the teaching of retention catheterization the control group were taught using traditional teachingmethod and the test group were taught using discovery teaching method. The elfects of two teaching method were compared.
