    The correlation research of job satisfaction of nurse and organization commitment in operating room

    • Objective:To know the status of nurses job satisfaction and organizational commitment in operating room and explore the correlation of both.Methods:Two hundred and fourteen nurses of operating room from 6 Grade 3 general hospitals were investigated using the questionnaires of organizational commitment and job satisfaction.Results:The average scores of organizational commitment and job satisfaction were 2.740.50 and 2.820.63,respectively,and which was positively correlated(P0.01).There were no statistically significant difference between the score of organizational commitment in different genders and job satisfaction in different work purposes(P0.05).There were statistical significance between job satisfaction in predicting the total average score of organizational commitment on the basis of controlling the demographic variables(P0.01).The explained variance increased 21.9%,but when gender and work purpose entered into the regression equation,the score of job satisfaction could not obviously effect the score of organizational commitment(P0.05).Conclusions:Playing attention to the level of job satisfaction and taking some incentive measures can improve the level of satisfaction,promote organizational commitment,stabilize nursing team and alleviate the lack of nursing staff.
