Secretory carcinoma of breast:a report of 2 cases and review of the literature

Objective:To study the clinicopathological characteristics,diagnosis and prognose of secretory carcinoma of the breast.Methods:Microscopy,histochemical and immunohistochemical staining were used with the review of the literature to 2 cases secretory carcinoma of breast.Results:The tumor revealed small atypia of cancer cells and appeared large amounts of intracellular and extracellular eosinophilic PAS-positive secretory material.It constantly expressed immunhistochemical mark S-100.Conclusions:Secretory carcinoma of the breast is a rare breast carcinoma and has better prognosis.Combined with histological features and histochemical staining,diagnosis of secretory carcinoma of the breast also needs differential diagnosis of some tumors.
