Comparative study of the methods of detecting serum C reactive protein

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the automatic dry chemistry method in detecting serum C reactive protein(CRP).Methods:The serum CRP was detected by the VITROS-250 dry chemistry analyzer and the HITACH-7600 automatic chemistry analyzer simultaneously.Results:The linear range of the dry chemistry method was 7.0-110.0 mg/L;the high,mean and low value within and between-run CV were 1.79%,1.90%,2.46% and 1.95%,2.53%,3.62% respectively.The average recovery rate was 98.2%;the correlation coefficient and correlation equation to the HITACH-7600 automatic chemistry analyzer were R2=0.989 5,Y=0.970 2X+0.431 9.There was no significant interference in the assay when hemolysin2.0 g/L,bilirubin356 mol/L and triglyceride7.8 mmol/L.Conclusions:Automatic dry chemistry is a fast,accurate and stable method for the detection of CRP.
