Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical and histo pathological features, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of minimal deviation adenocarcinoma(MDA) of cervix. Methods: The clinical data of two cases of MDA were collected.Histopathological examination was performed and the literature related was reviewed. Results: The main clinical symptoms of MDA were watery leucorrhea, and large and hard cervix. It was often misdiagnosed by biopsy. There were many irregular microcysts in the cervix wall, and the cervix wall was hypertrophic. The pathological findings showed hyperplasia of the glands, which were irregular, twisted and cystic, feeling like chicken claw.Invasion was often observed around the vessels and the nervous tissues. The prognosis of the two cases was very poor. Conclusions: MDA is a kind of malignant adenoma of cervix with little dysplasia in cytology.MDA is very difficult to diagnose with cytological examination and biopsy, and is often misdiagnosed as benign tumor, but has a malignant biological behavior.
