Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the value of treatment of post-transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP) secondary bleeding of with transurethral endoscopic hemostasis.Methods:Sixteen cases with massive hemorrhage of 723 patients with TURP were treated with transurethral endoscopic hemostasis,clear blood clots of bladder and hemostasis of bladder neck.Results:The secondary surgery of sixteen cases were success.The mean time of surgery and hospital stay were 27 mins and 9 days respectively.Conclusions:The effects of treatment of post-TURP secondary bleeding of with transurethral endoscopic hemostasis are good,which is small trauma,convenient operating,and can be first choice for treating serious bleeding after TURP.
