Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical value of the short-term conservative method combined with the procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH) in the treatment of acute incarceration circumferential mixed hemorrhoids.Methods: Twenty-five patients with acute incarceration circumferential mixed hemorrhoids were treated with PPH after the conservative therapy.The effects and complications of postoperation were analysed.Results: All patients were cured,and the operation time was 15 to 35 minutes.The time of preoperative treatment and postoperative hospitalization were 3 to 6 and 3 to 5 days,respectively.The postoperative analgesics were employed in 10 cases.No massive haemorrhage,infection and anal incontinence and stenosis were found after operation.Conclusions: The short-time conservative method combined with PPH for patient with acute incarceration circumferential mixed hemorrhoids is safe and effective,which is short operation time,quick rehabilitation and less complications.
