    Analysis of the drug resistance of 202 strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis

    • Objective:To determine the drug susceptibility of some Mycobacterium tuberculosis(Mtb) to antitubercular agents.Methods:Absolute concentration method was used for drug susceptibility tests for the anti-tubercular agents.All strains isolated from the clinic were cultured using Lowenstein-Jensen medium which had two kinds of high and low drug concentration.Results:The drug resistance rate of INH,SM,EMB,RFP and PAS were 25.7%,22.3%,5.9%,32.2% and 11.4% respectively.About 3.5% of all the strains were resistant to all anti-tuberculosis drugs.Conclusions:EMB can be used as one of effective drugs for treating tuberculosis.Compared with the other domestic researches,the drug resistance rate of these anti-tubercular agents were rised.In the clinical work,we should increase the drug varieties of drug sensitive test.
