    Potential influence of professional thought on human caring capacity of nursing undergraduates

    • Objective: To explore the potential association of the professional thought with the human caring capacity of the nursing undergraduates so as to provide a reference for the enhancement of the human caring capacity in them.Methods: Eight hundred nursing undergraduates of grade 2-4 from two nursing schools were investigated by Caring ability Inventory and professional thinking questionnaires.Results: The nursing undergraduates who had more stable professional thought and stronger interest in professional and humanity courses possessed better human caring capacities(P 0.01).Conclusions: The professional thought is potentially related with the human caring capacity of the nursing undergraduates.
