Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of interventional therapy for treatment of digestive tract hemorrhage. Methods: All the 35 patients were performed arterial digital subtraction angiography, infused reptilase and embolized with gelfoam.Twenty-one cases with portal hypertension underwent percutaneous vena embolization or (and)partial splenic artery embolization;6 cases of obscure tract hemorrhage received perfusion of reptilase in artery only. Results: The bleeding was stopped in all the cases. Conclusions: The procedures of arterial perfusion, perfusion plus embolization, percutaneous vena embolization and partial spleen embolization are effective for treatment of digestive tract hemorrhage.
