CT diagnosis of lung laceration

Objective: To evaluate the performance and features of lung laceration in the CT scan.Methods: The data of 11 cases of pulmonary lacerations of the CT scan were retrospectively analysised.Results: Eleven cases were involving 12 side with lung laceration， 18 disease lesions，most of which were on the back of the lung， close to the pleura and spine， single or multiple.CT detected 4 cases of lung cyst in，4 cases of cyst liquid，pulmonary hematoma in 3 cases.Eleven cases of lung laceration were all suffered varying degrees of pulmonary contusion， including 7 cases of rib fracture，6 cases of pleural effusion，6 cases of pneumothorax and 4 cases of subcutaneous emphysema.Conclusions: The CT manifestations of lung tear has a certain characteristic which could be accurate and timely diagnosis of the scope and severity of lung laceration on an important role in guiding clinical treatment.
