    Cleaning quality of surgical instruments for outpatients before and after standardized management

    • Objective: To analyze the effect of standardized process on the cleaning and packaging quality of operational instruments for outpatients.Methods: The cleaning quality and functional integrity of the operational devices, and the quality index referring to the weight and cubic measure of the package, the instruction cards within the package as well as the tags outside were compared before and after the application of standardized management.Results: The overall qualification rates of the cleaning and packaging quality of the instruments before and after the application of standardized process were 99.4% and 87.5%, respectively(P0.01) .Conclusions: Standardized management can effectively improve the cleaning and packaging quality of operational instruments for outpatients,which are beneficial to the succeeding disinfection and sterilization.
