Observation on the effect of two kinds of azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effects and safety of two kinds of azithromycin scheme in the treatment of mycoplasmapneumonia in children. Methods: Seventy-six cases treated with 7 － 4 － 3 solution of azithromycin and 80 cases treated with 5 － 4 － 5 solution of azithromycin were divided into observation group and control group by randomized controlled methods.The curative effects，the antifebrile time， cough relief time， the rale disappearing time and adverse reaction rate in two groups were compared.Results: The differences of curative effects and antifebrile time between two groups had no statistical significance( P 0.05) ， the differences of cough relief time，the rale disappearing time and adverse reaction rate between two groups had statistical significance ( P 0.05 ) . Conclusions: The 5 － 4 － 5 solution of azithromycin in treating mycoplasma pneumonia of children is good， safe and reliable，which is worth popularization and application in clinic
